Italy - Worldwide Culture Swap package

Thank you so much Annalisa from Tutti in Fila for sending in a picture of the package that she prepared to represent Italy in the Worldwide Culture Swap!





Here are a few of the items that were included...
  • a packet of pasta, a jar of pesto and the recipe to cook perfect spaghetti with pesto;
  • a bit of grana padano cheese (for spaghetti)
  • the recipe to produce yourself pesto
  • different postcards from Tuscany
  • a wooden Pinocchio and the story of Pinocchio true
  • the wheel of the months and the seasons (in Italian)
  • the wheel of days of the week
  • a reproduction of a fruit basket of the painter Caravaggio, coloring

Briliant idea, as a Montessori Directres ,I can say that this is a truely Montessori practice, we do collect packets from children when ever they travel any country for our Continent bags...dats da main learning tool in our Geography corner,,,children learn many things right from the begining of their first few years if childhood...I love yr idea....and soon will send u about our country ...tyr ideasq
